Set my weekly availability

Mark the hours you can work each week in the web app, so your BCBA sees them when scheduling your sessions.

Your availability is the set of hours you can work, repeated every week: for example Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00. When a BCBA or org owner schedules you outside these hours, ABACare warns them. It does not stop them, so a session can still be booked outside your availability. You set availability in the web app only.

Open your availability

In the web app, select My Availability in the top menu, or the My Availability card on your dashboard.

The page shows a week from Sunday to Saturday, from 06:00 to 22:00 in half-hour rows. Your saved hours appear as blocks. When you have set none yet, the grid is empty.

Add hours

  1. Click an empty half-hour cell, or drag down a column to select a longer span. Add Availability opens with the day and times filled in.
  2. Adjust the Day of Week, Start Time and End Time if needed. Times move in half-hour steps and the end must be after the start.
  3. Select Save.

The message Availability added successfully appears and the block shows on the grid. If your selection overlaps a block you already have, This time slot overlaps with existing availability shows for a moment and nothing opens.

Change or remove hours

  • Edit a block: click it. Edit Availability opens. Change the day or times and select Save.
  • Move or resize: drag a block to another day or time, or drag its top or bottom edge. A block cannot overlap another or leave 06:00 to 22:00; if it would, it stays where it was. Then select Save Changes at the top to save every block you moved.
  • Delete a block: point at it and select the red x, then Delete in Confirm Delete. The info card says you can delete a block by clicking it, but the edit window has no delete option: use the x.
Warning
Save moved or resized blocks with Save Changes before you add, edit or delete another block. Those actions reload the grid and throw away unsaved moves without asking.

What happens next

  • BCBAs and org owners see a warning when they schedule you outside your availability.
  • Your hours are plain clock times with no time zone, and a block cannot run past midnight.
  • If Save Changes fails, your moved blocks stay on the grid. Reload the page to go back to what is saved.
