Analyze a treatment plan's progress
Chart every target, behavior and reward of a learner's plan over a period, and follow each target's phases, probes and regressions on one analytics page.
A target's details page shows one target at a time. The plan's analytics page shows the whole plan at once: a chart for every target, every behavior the plan tracks, how rewards are used, and each target's path through its phases. Use it to prepare a progress report or a meeting with the family, or to spot what is stalling. The page only reads data; nothing you do here changes the plan.
Before you start
- You work in the web app. Open the learner's treatment plan and select View Analytics. The Needs Attention list also opens this page when a target has stalled, and highlights that target.
- The page works for plans in any status, including completed ones.
Choose the period
At the top, pick Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days (the default), Last 90 Days or All Time. All Time starts at the plan's start date. Every change reloads the whole page.
Turn on Include Parent Data to add the goals parents practice at home and the data they log. It is off by default.
Three cards sum up the period: Total Sessions, Active Targets and Tracked Behaviors. Active Targets counts every target on the page, whatever its status or data.
Skill acquisition
The Skill Acquisition tab shows one card per target, grouped by goal.
- Filter by Target Status narrows the cards: All Statuses, Planned, Active, Generalization, Maintenance, On Hold or Mastered.
- Filter by Goal picks the goals to show. It starts with the Active goals; use Select All, Active Only or Clear.
- Aggregation decides what one point shows when a learner had several sessions on the same day: Average, Best Score or Last Session. ABACare remembers your choice in this browser.
Each target card charts the target across its phases. Select an entry in the legend to hide or show that line, and View as table to see the numbers. Under the chart, Average, Min/Max and Trend sum up the period; a trend needs at least three points. A generic target shows its notes instead of a chart, and a task analysis shows its steps. A target with no data shows No data collected yet.
Behavior reduction and rewards
- Behavior Reduction has a section per plan behavior, with the charts that fit how it is recorded: count, rate, duration, intensity or ABC patterns.
- Rewards shows how rewards were delivered: Total Deliveries, usage over time, categories, Top Rewards and By Preference Level. It covers every plan of the learner and only sessions that were submitted or completed. With All Time it shows the last 90 days.
Lifecycle
The Lifecycle tab follows the targets through their phases:
- Status Timeline: when each target moved between Planned, Active, Generalization, Maintenance and Mastered, and when it was On Hold. The progress charts shade on-hold spans in grey.
- Overdue Probes: targets in Maintenance whose probe is due. Selecting one opens the plan, without highlighting the target.
- Regressions: targets that moved back a phase in the period. A hold is a pause, not a step back: putting a target on hold never counts, and resuming it is compared with the status it had before the hold.
- Generalization Contexts and Maintenance Probes: the results per context and per probe. Expand a context to chart it.
Home-practice goals always appear in the timeline, probes and regressions, even with Include Parent Data off. If the tab stays blank, switch to another tab and back to load it again.
What happens next
- To act on one target, open its details page: see Review a target's details page.
- The back arrow at the top returns to the previous page in your browser. If you opened analytics in a new tab, it leaves the app.
- If the page cannot load, it shows an error in English and Retry.
