View and export the target performance matrix

See a learner's targets side by side over a period, one cell per target and day, week or month, on screen or as an Excel workbook.

Applies toBCBAOrg Owner

The target performance matrix lays a learner's targets out as a grid: one column per target, one row per day, week or month. Each cell shows how the target went in that stretch, so you can see at a glance which targets are moving, which were not run and where a phase changed. You can view it on screen or download it as an Excel workbook, for a team meeting or a payer.

Before you start

  • You work in the web app. Select Reports in the top menu.
  • You can build the matrix for the learners assigned to you. Org owners can build it for any learner.

Choose the learner and the period

  1. In Report, pick Target Performance Matrix.
  2. In Learner, pick the learner. Tick Include deactivated to list inactive learners too.
  3. Under Period, pick This month, Last month, Last 30 days or Custom. With Custom, pick the start and end dates in Custom range.
  4. Set the matrix options:
    • Granularity: one row per Day, Week or Month.
    • Phases: the target phases to include. By default Active, Generalization and Maintenance. Tick Include mastered targets to add mastered ones, or add On Hold in the list to include targets that were on hold.
    • Show denominators (n): show how many trials or entries each value comes from.
    • Show every date in the period (calendar scaffold): add a row even for days, weeks or months with no session.
    • Orientation: Dates down, targets across or Targets down, dates across.
  5. Select View on screen to see the grid, or Download Excel to get the workbook straight away.

Read the grid

The page shows the learner and the period at the top. Columns are grouped under Domain › Goal, one per target. Each row ends with a coverage chip: how many of the scheduled targets were collected.

A Legend explains the cells. A cell can hold a value, with its phase (A for Active, G for Generalization, M for Maintenance, H for On Hold) and, if you chose it, the number of trials behind it. Other cells say that the target was not run in a session that happened, had not started yet, was already mastered, was on hold, or that there was no session. A marker shows where a target changed phase.

  • Switch the orientation with the buttons at the top; the grid redraws without reloading.
  • Select Download Excel to get the workbook as it is on screen. The message Report ready confirms the download started.
  • To change the period or the options, select Back to reports and build it again.

What counts

  • Only sessions that were submitted or completed, and that started in the period, feed the grid.
  • Generic targets never appear, because they have no values to compare.
  • A target appears when it was in one of the chosen phases at some point in the period.
  • Days, weeks and months follow your computer's time zone.
  • With nothing to show, the page says No delivered sessions or targets in scope for this period.
