Browse the treatment library

Look through ABACare's treatment library by domain, subdomain, goal and target, and through the goals and targets your clinic keeps in its own library.

ABACare comes with a treatment library: ready-made goals and targets, each with its measurement and mastery settings, filed by domain and subdomain. Your clinic can also keep its own library of goals and targets it reuses. Browsing either one is a way to find ideas and check a template's settings before you add it to a plan. Nothing you do here changes a plan.

Before you start

You work in the web app.
On paid plans, the top menu has Library, with Treatment Library, Org Library and My Proposals. On the Free plan there is no clinic library, and the menu has only Treatment Library.
The library is read only for BCBAs. Your org owner manages the clinic's library, and ABACare maintains the treatment library.

Browse the treatment library

Select Library > Treatment Library (or Treatment Library on the Free plan). Treatment Library Domains shows one card per domain, such as communication or daily living. A domain meant for parent training carries a Parent Training badge.
Type in Search domains... to narrow the cards by name.
Select a domain to see its Subdomains, then a subdomain to see its Goals.
Select a goal. Its page shows the Description, where it sits in the library under Hierarchy, and its Targets.
Select a target to see its Target Configuration: how it is measured and when it counts as mastered. A target that counts different days shows Consecutive Days instead of a session count.

Use Back to Domains or Back to Goal to go up a level. A level with nothing in it says so, for example No goals are currently available in this subdomain. Names show in your clinic's language where the library has a translation.

Browse your clinic's library

Select Library > Org Library. Organization Library shows your clinic's goals as cards, each with its Domain and Subdomain.
Narrow the cards with Search organization goals..., Filter by domain and Filter by subdomain.
Select a goal to see its targets, and Back to Goals to return.

If your clinic has not added anything yet, the page shows No Organization Content Yet. If the clinic's subscription does not include its own library, the page shows Organization Library Requires a Paid Subscription instead.

To suggest something for your clinic's library, select Create Proposal: see Propose a goal or target for the organization library.

What happens next

To use a library goal in a plan, add it from the plan: see Add goals and targets from the library. The plan gets its own copy, so later changes to the library never change a plan.
There is no separate page for the behavior library. You browse library behaviors when you add a behavior to a plan: see Manage a plan's behaviors.
